By using LitCrop, you agree to the following terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using LitCrop, you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
LitCrop is a farm management platform that helps you organize crops, monitor beds, track work activity, and optionally capture images via connected devices. The service is provided as-is for agricultural planning and record-keeping.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration. One person per account.
4. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you create (farm data, images, diary entries). We do not sell your data. We store your data on secure cloud infrastructure (AWS) to provide the service.
5. Admin Visibility
System administrators can view farm names, approximate locations (if provided), grid dimensions, and member counts for platform management and support purposes. Administrators cannot modify your farm data without your consent.
6. AI Features
LitCrop may offer AI-powered features (crop advice, chat assistance). When enabled, your farm context data (crop types, weather, diary entries) may be processed by third-party AI providers. No personally identifiable information is shared with AI providers.
7. Acceptable Use
Do not use LitCrop for illegal activities, to upload harmful content, or to attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or system resources.
8. Disclaimers
LitCrop is not a substitute for professional agricultural advice. Crop recommendations, weather data, and AI suggestions are provided for informational purposes only. We are not liable for crop losses, equipment damage, or decisions made based on data from this platform.
9. Service Availability
We aim to keep LitCrop available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via the What's New page.
